Instead Aveda use tourmaline, mineral sulfites and a corn-derived ingredient, polylysine. The tourmaline loosens the curl, the mineral sulfites realign the hair’s bonds to smooth the hair, while corn and a naturally derived enzyme help lock the smooth style in place.
